In July 2019 a group of six Bhutan Network members including Bhutan Network president Christine Zandl and principal of the Agricultural School Bruck (LFS Bruck) Christian Dullnigg, embarked on a 3-week exploration visit to Bhutan. The trip was designed, organized and led by Bhutan Network founder and Bhutan specialist Ulli Cokl.

The Bhutan Network fellowship enjoyed unique insights into the fascinating culture and traditions of the small kingdom in the Himalayas. They spent most of their time getting to know rural livelihoods including forestry, agriculture and local hospitality. Additionally, many overnights at homestays allowed for greater immersion and privileged access. As part of their itinerary they also met with our previous and present OFEP candidates. The joy of reunion was great!

In the course of this journey, our members witnessed the many positive impacts of OFEP  first hand and they brought home many unforgettable impressions.

Rotary Meeting in Thimphu

In the capital Thimphu Rotary Club members Josef Zandl and Christian Dullnigg (RC Zell am See, District 1910) met with Rotary Club Secretary Yeshey Dorji (RC Thimphu, District 3292). During the very friendly meeting the club pennants were exchanged and future collaboration discussed.
